How to access old versions of a website – Google cache and WayBackMachine

WayBackMachine is a web crawler that stores cache versions of websites. Most of the popular websites are cached by the server and is available for free. This is a great tool to see how a website had been in the past. For example, this domain computernewsreport.com was registered in 2005 but, there wasn’t anything in it. Before we registered the domain, we used to host thee blog in xnepali.com and you can see what it was like in 2007.

Google Cache

Another popular website keeping cache is Google. Google keeps cache to serve when the website is not working. Accessing web-cache in Google is replacing the ‘example.com’ by the website in question:
