Apple is rumored to be planning to poach the customers of Nokia and other rivals by releasing a cheaper iPhone 4. The phone is targeted to the customers in China and other emerging market.
According to Reuters, the cheaper version of iPhone is expected to ship with 8GB of flash memory and might be released along-with the new iPhone 5 model.
The white version of iPhone 4 was added in April to the black sibling launched earlier in June of 2010 in 16-GB and 32-GB versions.
The rumored 8 GB version of iPhone 4 is expected to cost less than $200. Currently, iPhone 4 without contract cost more than $600.
The new version iPhone 5 is expected to be released by the end of September with the added features like bigger touch screen, better antenna and 8-megapixel camera.
