Apple, is now the second largest company in the world, in terms of it’s market value.
In May, Apple made news when it left Microsoft behind with Wall Street value of $222.12 billion, becoming second most valuable company in the United States. Now, Apple is worth $265.8 billion — ahead of $265.5 billion worth PetroChina. The only company well above Apple is Exxon-Mobil with the value of $313.3 billion.
Since May Apple gained a net value of $43.68 billion, whereas, Exxon-Mobil gained a net value of $33.3 billion in the same period. If the pace remained unchanged in the future, no one can stop Apple from being the most valuable company in the world.
