Apple, now the second most valuable company in the world

petrochina apple-logo Apple, is now the second largest company in the world, in terms of it’s market value.

In May, Apple made news when it left Microsoft behind with Wall Street value of $222.12 billion, becoming second most valuable company in the United States. Now, Apple is worth $265.8 billion — ahead of $265.5 billion worth PetroChina. The only company well above Apple is Exxon-Mobil with the value of $313.3 billion.

exxonmobil Since May Apple gained a net value of $43.68 billion, whereas, Exxon-Mobil gained a net value of $33.3 billion in the same period. If the pace remained unchanged in the future, no one can stop Apple from being the most valuable company in the world.
