Apple CEO Steve Jobs unveiled the new smartphone, iPhone 4, at the company’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco. Apple says the phone is 24 percent thinner than the iPhone 3GS, can shoot HD video, and has longer battery life.
Jobs described the iPhone 4 as “the biggest leap since the original iPhone.”
Apart from iPhone 4, Apple also announced the operating system, named iOS 4 (Phone removed from iPhone OS). Safari 5 is also released today is told to be faster, less clutter, and features secure browser extensions.
