Sprint Nextel Corp. has unveiled a dual screen Smartphone named, the Echo, manufactured by by Kyocera Corp. The two 3.5-inch touch screens can be stacked side-by-side to work like a tablet. The two screens can do multiple tasks and drag and drop items from one screen to another.With the dual screens open a 4.7 inch screen is available for use.
The Echo runs on Google’s Android software and is available for $199,99 after mail-in rebate. This device, when on sale in this spring, is expected to compete with other Android phones from HTC and Samsung.
Some of the notable features in the Echo are: 5-megapixel camera with flash, autofocus and digital zoom, 720p HD camcorder, Stereo Bluetooth, 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, 1 GB on board memory and 8 GB MicroSD card slot.
